RE: 2022 Amateur Draft - Ryno - 07-15-2020

Man, I really wanted to take Kessinger. That fastball, sinker, screwball combo is highly intriguing. But we couldn't resist taking the fastest player in the draft at #6. We've already seen with Mike Chamberlain what killer speed can do. Now we have a suitable heir for when he hangs the PF Flyers up.

RE: 2022 Amateur Draft - jockman32 - 07-15-2020

Cleveland will take P Blas Boyd

RE: 2022 Amateur Draft - jcbarr - 07-16-2020

I had to go with power. I need to find some offense in Baltimore.

Also, how about the 90 AS knuckle baller? That one should be fun to watch. It will be interesting to see how that combo plays out in this league.

RE: 2022 Amateur Draft - Ryno - 07-16-2020

It will be interesting.  From what I've seen though in other leagues, BBPRO hates the knuckleball so I try to steer clear of them nowadays.

RE: 2022 Amateur Draft - jcbarr - 07-16-2020

They normally get a lot of strikeouts from the movement of the ball itself, but tend to give up a lot of homers. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. I hope that he does well, with that kind of arm strength, he will at least have a fighting chance.

RE: 2022 Amateur Draft - ksubarton - 07-18-2020

This is brutal.....

RE: 2022 Amateur Draft - jcbarr - 07-19-2020

Yep...need to find some new owners. We just lost Boston and Oakland.

RE: 2022 Amateur Draft - ksubarton - 07-19-2020

think it's pretty clear Texas is gone too....3 days to make your 1st rd draft pick, and hasn't been on the forums in over 3 weeks..

RE: 2022 Amateur Draft - jcbarr - 07-20-2020

Well the league isn't going anywhere. I'm building tools to manage the cpu teams and I'm going to keep playing.

Draft will be finished via list tomorrow afternoon.
